IV Therapy

While more invasive than swallowing pills, administering medication intravenously is more advanced and has distinct advantages. Some medications may only be given intravenously either because they wouldn’t be as effective otherwise or because they must go directly into the bloodstream, thus bypassing breakdown in the GI tract.

Though getting infused can be intimidating the first time, the knowledge and experience of our staff and clinicians give our patients confidence. Additionally, our infusion suites are designed for privacy and comfort and configured with digital media to help pass the time. Unlike other centers, where there is one infusionist for every five or ten patients, our ratio is one-to-one. Our exceedingly skilled experts succeed with even the most difficult patients-child or adult. In addition to intravenous skill our technicians are EMTs and  trained to handle any medical emergency; despite the fact that we have never had one.
